Your Right to Fly

If you are a disabled person you have rights to assistance when flying to from and within Europe. The right to assistance with flying is also available to people with mobility impairments due to age or temporary injury. European law covers rights when booking, checking in, getting on and off the plane and arriving at, or leaving, the airport.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has produced  a step by step guide for disabled people and less mobile passengers. A copy of the guide can be downloaded from the EHRC website.
