A consultation on the Blue Badge Scheme to ensure that the Scheme, that has been running since 1971, stays fit for purpose in the 21st century. The consultation document sets out the Governments prpoosals to improve the Scheme over the next three years. It sets out proposals to make it easier to access and use by those who are eligible, easier to enforce in order to clamp down on those who flout the rules, to improve the administration of the Scheme and improve the assessment of eligibility criteria.
