There are places on each of the six strategy groups for people with a lived experience of disability and/or long term condition. Community representatives can influence the work of these groups by raising issues on your behalf.

Community Action Research (CAR) lies at the heart of the Forum's work. By community led we mean research defined, undertaken, analysed and evidenced by members of the community themselves. It is therefore research of and by the community and not, as is traditional, on and to the community.”

Our Wellbeing Passport helps people to have a voice. It is a tool to help you impart information to health and social care providers about yourself in a holistic and personal format.
This initiative backs the aspiration towards better supported self-management for people with long term conditions.
